Great tile at a reasonable price! Even though our project was small Hector the sales consultant who helped us gave us his undivided attention. Once he got an idea of what we wanted and our budget he collected samples and helped us narrow down the choices. He loaned out a couple of sample boards so we could live with them a few days to decide. He even extended a couple days while I was waiting for some other samples to arrive in the mail. When I went to purchase I called ahead and he was waiting. He offered to check out grout and edge samples to help on the final touches. He followed up as promised (a day early actually) and the tile was ready when promised. The guy folks at the pick-up area were polite and efficient. A great experience from start to finish! We bought a home last fall that was all tiled. Wanted the warmth of carpet but didn’t want to destroy the tile since we didnt have any more original tiles. Our only option was to have a larger area rug made. We went to Big Bob’s to ask some questions and the salesman that spoke with us first said, “That’s not a normal thing we do here. You might as well get something on Wayfair.” We were a bit taken aback but pressed on and asked for carpet options for the project. The salesman didn’t give us any options other than what we had picked out on our own and said he didn’t think there were any other options in the store. Thank goodness another wonderful salesman (John) stepped in and gave us some options/samples that fit our needs. Steve came and measured the space and we ended up ordering the rug to be sewn and bound. Upon delivery the rug looked rough. The padding was too small, the rug was too big and didn’t fit the space and the seam was very visible. I called our original salesman and said it didn’t fit and that we weren’t going to accept it at that time. I told him the issues and he said he could probably fix the pad but not the seam and went on to ask if I had even measured the space. I told him that’s why I hired them. Obviously I didn’t want to work with him at that point and asked for a manager. Steve called us shortly after and was wonderful and corrected the mistakes. Steve delivered the carpet himself about a week later and we are very satisfied with the final product. However, we are not happy with the way our original salesman interacted with us. His people skills and customer service leaves much to be desired. Had John and Steve not stepped in they would have lost a sale. We would probably work with Big Bob’s again but certainly not with our original salesman.

We are very pleased with our purchase of carpeting from Big Bob's. We visited the store, Chris the salesman helped us decide on a couple of choices and we went home with some samples. This was on a Tuesday, by Friday, Steve was at our house measuring and writing the order. The next Tuesday, 2 young men, Adrian and Israel were here on time (the earliest time given) and did a very good job of installing the carpet? Very courteous, hard working and worked steady, right through lunchtime. They started in at 8:30 a.m. and never looked up until they were done about 2:25 p.m. They also moved our furniture with great care. Can't say enough about these guys work ethic, we certainly appreciated how well they did. Best place to do your flooring business.

First of all, my floors are beautiful, but beauty comes with a few pot holes in the road. My experience in the showroom was great! Chris was very helpful and communicated well. The estimator (can remember his name) that came out was not as good. My bottom line went from 7,900 to 8,900! This was for the extra tile for “breakage”. I ended up with 6 extra cases of tile, one of which was damaged upon arrival. It’s a total inconvenience to bring them back. (Way too heavy to lift) So, the estimator needs to be more precise. He wasted my money on all the extra. The other thing that was stated in the contract is that the tile layers (they promised 2 guys) would move furniture. Only one guy showed up and I had to move my own furniture out of the rooms and put it all back. Jerry the tile setter did an amazing job! I’d recommend his work to anyone. I guess having new floors installed is like childbirth. It takes a while and the process is painful……but hey, I have new floors🙂 This is why I only rated 4-stars

So we go in to Big Bob's expecting it to be crazy expensive. We were wrong! Same price, if not a little bit cheaper than home depot. We dealt with Joe Espinoza and he was nothing but knowledgable, courteous and most importantly, PATIENT!! Me and my wife are on a budget but also dont want super cheap carpet. He patiently walked us through all the options while me and my wife probably took too long to make up our minds. Joe really did make the experience a breeze. We ended up getting measured and went in a few days later to pay for the entire purchase and we're set to get installed within this week! Crazy! Called Big Bob's and Carlos answered. He was very professional and seemed like he sincerely wanted to help. Stopped by the same day to pick out the flooring. Mario and Roberto installed the next day. I am sure they are not able to do a 2 day turnaround for all customers but I was lucky enough to get in. However, the installers of this company did damaged my parents bedroom wall during installation. I appreciate that BBFO's management took corrective action to repair which was completed by a very talented and kind handywoman named Sandy (I reccomend her for your repair projects, but I am unsure she'd like her number posted). Buyer beware, although it is in their policy to review the job done, always inspect the area before and after the service is complete. This would be a five star rating had their middle management carried out their policy, followed-up and followed through without giving me the go around upon my complaint.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. One thing after another has gone wrong with installing a laminate floor. The installer shows up late. Doesn't have the right materials, the measuring guy said the baseboards could be painted yet the installer says they are plastic and you can't paint them. We experienced a water leak due to an error by a technican working on our water filtration system. I called Tim at Big Bob's to get an estimate on replacing the ruined carpet and pad and, within a couple of days, was visited by an estimator and provided with an estimate to turn over to their insurance. After the estimate was approved by the insurance, Tim provided a sample of a like carpet and pad which was perfect for us. They had Julio do our job and he is excellent but you cannot count upon acquiring his services each time as there is only one of him and many jobs. The field representative checks on the job while in progress, everyone is friendly. and the job was finished in the time frame referenced by the estimator. Four stars for the business and 5 stars for the work.

They were more than happy to work with our time frame that we required since we don't live year round in Yuma. Steve came out to the house and quickly got the measurements needed for the quote. Both my husband and I had made guesses as to what the cost would be and the quote came out a lot lower than either of us had guessed! Fabian and Javier (sp.?) arrived as planned to replace the carpet with laminate wood in two of our bedrooms. They were very pleasant and professional and appeared to have everything they needed to go to work. It took two days to complete the work and we have two wonderful floors. The work is well done and we are very happy with the finished job. These two seem to work well together and laugh, whistle, hum and sing during their work which made us feel they enjoyed what they were doing in spite of the heat and hustle which they did. We'd give them more stars (gold) if we could. Fabian explained what he had to do and why when it was out of the ordinary which we appreciated. The rooms are not "square" so they had to work with that and everything came out wonderful. GREAT JOB!

Excellent experience with the flooring consultants at Big Bob's and the installer. Do not remember the name of the first consultant who was not available further visits. Caleb was the consultant that helped us make changes to the floor layout and select a transition tile that worked out excellent between the old and new tiles, his help made the process run smooth. Julio was the installer that did a meticulous job in cutting the tiles and the layout. All in all an excellent job. Contact Caleb and ask for Julio to install.
